Dr. Candice Matthews Statewide Vice Chair is an amazing woman who has accomplished much in her life. In June 2021, the Leaders Esteemed Bible University conferred her an honorary doctorate in humanities. Two years later, in December 2022, she was appointed President of the Board Regis. These prestigious prizes are given to people who have excelled in their fields or service the community.
Dr. Matthews satisfies this qualification. She goes above and beyond as Executive Director of the non-profit Children of Diversity Foster Adoption Agency, which has offices in Beaumont and Houston, Texas. She dedicates herself tirelessly to helping children find homes and families who will love them unconditionally. She is a role model for all of us!
She is an experienced administrator and manager with a successful track record in developing and implementing cost-effective strategic plans for businesses. Dr. Matthews has a proven ability to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and create business strategies that are both times- and cost-effective. Her experience with government organizations gives her a unique understanding of the challenges faced by businesses working with state agencies.
